Independent Advocacy can act as a mediator/conciliator in complaints involving medical practitioners or social services departments and their clients.

We can supply a mediator to help resolve a dispute at the first stage at local level where the complaint is dealt with by the organisation’s complaints manager. The participation of a mediator at this early stage often avoids the escalation of the complaint to the official ombudsman.
