We are currently reviewing our volunteer strategy and will notify any new vacancies in the new year.

Current Vacancy

We are looking for a volunteer administrator to work on Thursdays at our Stoneleigh office. Main duties will be to answer phones and deal with post and log post on to our data base.

Voluntary Trustees needed

Do you have Expertise in Human Resources Management?

Do you have just a few hours (approximately 35 hours per year) to volunteer as a Trustee with an exciting and forward looking charity?

If so, please read on!

Independent Advocacy is a well-respected regional charity, operating primarily in Warwickshire and the Midlands. We are currently looking at exciting new ways to expand our activities.

We specialise in working alongside people with physical and learning disabilities, people who may require support with their mental health and older people. Our aim is to ensure that their voices are heard in defining the outcomes they want to achieve to underpin a great quality of life. Our advocates and wider team help people have choice and influence in maintaining their well-being.

Our services include:

  • Advocacy
  • Appointeeship
  • Parental Support for Child Protection
  • Support Work - providing practical help for people in the community

This is a voluntary position and we are looking for someone who is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, who would be willing to join us as a Co-opted Trustee to our Board and Human Resources sub–Committee.

Time Commitment:

Our Board meets 6 times per year for approximately 2 hours near Kenilworth

Our HR Committee meets 6 times per year for approximately 2 hours near Kenilworth.


Full training and support is available to new Trustees to ensure they feel comfortable in their role and able to contribute.
